New Tehri, 26 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid obeisance at the Tila Sahib Gurudwara, here, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. The CM also performed Kar Seva and also participated in the Sankirtan with the Sangats.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dhami noted that today is a historic day and that Veer Bal Diwas is being celebrated as an occasion to remember the Sahebzadas who had laid down their lives in cause of Dharma. He reminded that it was after 75 years of Independence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered the brave Bal Sahebzadas who sacrificed their lives to protect dharma by declaring Bal Diwas.
On this occasion, local MLA Kishore Upadhyay and office bearers of the Gurudwara Management Committee were also present.
