Dehradun, 23 Sep: A CII delegation led by Suyash Agrawal, Vice Chairman, CII Uttarakhand State Council 2024-25, called upon the newly appointed MD, SIIDCUL, and DG & Commissioner Industries, Prateek Jain, today. The delegation congratulated him on taking charge of the post.
The CII Uttarakhand State Council is the apex decision making body of CII in Uttarakhand which primarily drives the agenda on behalf of its members. It is represented by senior industry leaders from across geographies and sectors in the state.
Suyash Agrawal shared that CII has been in Uttarakhand since the state’s inception and has had the privilege of working very closely with the State Government. When the state was formed, CII worked very closely with the government through the CII–Government of Uttarakhand Joint Task Force in the areas of policy making and attracting investments. It was an active proponent of the planned industrial development approach that the State Government took leading to creation of world class integrated industrial estates in Uttarakhand.
Jain was also requested to interact with Industry members in the coming future to help them with their issues and concerns regarding industry, and also hear CII’s suggestions on further improving the industry landscape.
Rahul Singhal, Co-Convenor, CII Uttarakhand Membership Panel & Founder, Shivalik Enterprises; Mohit Makin, Director, Makin Developers; and Gaurav Lamba, Director & Head, CII, Uttarakhand, were also present at the interaction.
