The organisational festival organised at the party headquarters started today with State President Mahendra Bhatt giving primary membership to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami through a missed call. On this occasion, CM Dhami said that he is feeling very happy and proud on being made the “first member of the party in the state”. He also said that the enthusiasm of the workers present here shows that this membership campaign is going to be hugely successful. Referring to the “historic and courageous achievements” of PM Narendra Modi, he said that all the party members need to join hands and make the party stronger by inducting more people into the BJP family. He also emphasised that people will get the privilege of becoming members of the world’s largest and most democratic party.
Dhami claimed that there is no place for nepotism, casteism, communalism, regionalism in BJP but respect for small workers who stand up for the country and society. He claimed that he is a living example of this. He appealed to the BJP workers to work hard to set new records in the state and contribute towards achieving the target set by the central leadership this time to make 10 crore new members. Paying tribute to PM late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that his decisions for the betterment of the present and future worked to give direction to the country. He added that Vajpayee had respected the sentiments of the people of the state for the creation of the state. The PMGSY (PM’s Rural Roads scheme) has transformed the country. Vajpayee wanted this scheme to run forever, so he did not run the scheme in his name so that whichever PM comes to power, can take it forward.
Dhami emphasised that the result of the “historic work” done by the union government under the leadership of Modi in the last 10 years is that India has become one of the superpowers of the world. Today, under his leadership, India is rapidly moving towards becoming a developed country in 2047. Apart from this, whether it is the implementation of decisions pending for many decades like triple talaq abolition, Article 370, CAA and Ram Mandir within the country or any public welfare scheme like Ujjwala, Ayushman, Kisan, Anna Yojana, etc., have been able to transform the country. Dhami said that taking inspiration from the PM, the state government has also taken many tough decisions.
On this occasion, State President Mahendra Bhatt called upon the party workers to reach out to every person in the state and request him or her to take the party’s primary membership. He said that the party workers should go door to door and spread the party’s ideas and the government’s work. He said that the party workers need to connect all those sections, societies and areas with the party where the party leaders and the workers could not reach earlier. Bhatt shared that, from tomorrow, all the eight party MPs, the party MLAs and the public representatives and office bearers will launch the campaign in all the 19 organisational districts.
