Dehradun, 10 Aug: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has granted financial approval of Rs 4.8840 crore for the renovation of damaged Kadai Khala Gul in Bhopalpani under Raipur development block of Dehradun district, repair/reconstruction work of head and culverts of Thano main canal under NABARD. In addition, he has also granted financial approval of a project worth Rs 1.56 crore for construction of one new tube well (Sprinkler Irrigation System) in village Chharba Jungleat Chowki Ward No 15 in Sahaspur development block of Vikasnagar assembly constituency.
In addition, to projects approved for Dehradun district, under the NABARD head, the CM has also granted approval of a project worth Rs 4.63 crore for restoration/ renovation of the right Kho canal under Kotdwar area of Dugdda development block of Pauri Garhwal district, approval of Rs 1.76 crores worth scheme for the construction of lift irrigation scheme in village Lwali of development block Pauri, and an approval of amount of Rs 1.267 crore was granted for the construction of Lift irrigation scheme in village Paithani of development block Thalisain in district Pauri.
Dhami also approved an expenditure of Rs 4.52 crore for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Datgad nullah in village Kimagadi of development block Pokhra of district Pauri Garhwal. Apart from this, expenditure worth Rs 1.08 crore was also approved for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Kota drain in village Kota under Ekeshwar and an amount of Rs 1.96 crore was approved for the anti-soil erosion scheme from Western Nyar river of Bagdasera Tok in Ekeshwar itself.
Under the NABARD fund, an approval of Rs 1 crore has been given for the project of construction of one sprinkler based Belt Lift Irrigation Scheme in Chaukhutia development block of Almora district besides an approval of Rs 2.17 crore which was given for the project of renovation of Chhana Canal of development block Dwarahat.
Under the NABARD fund, an approval for an expenditure of Rs 2.55 crore has been given for the renovation of 12 mountain canals in Pokhari development block of Chamoli district. Under the NABARD head, approval of expenditure of Rs 1.80 crore has been given for the lining work of Kichha Canal in Rudrapur development block of Udham Singh Nagar district, approval of Rs 1.37 crore for the lining work of Sirsa Canal in Rudrapur development block, approval of Rs 2.90 crore for modernisation and restoration of Sisaiya Canal received from Uttar Pradesh state in Tehsil Sitarganj, was granted. In addition, approval of an amount of Rs 2.13 crore for modernisation and restoration of Chandeli Minor in Tehsil Khatima, and approval of Rs 162.58 lakh for the scheme of restoration of Canal No. 03.03A.03B in Tehsil Khatima.
The Chief Minister has given his approval to works worth Rs 4.88 crores for protection from floods to the population of trenching ground and Manpur Saini Farm Colony, Silver City Colony etc. from the Dhela River in Municipal Corporation Kashipur of Udham Singh Nagar district. Under the NABARD head, approval of Rs 7.61 crore has been given for the renovation of the Lastar main canal and damaged 8 km of affluents located in Jakholi development block of Rudraprayag district and construction of 10.214 km long new affluents through HDPE pipe and approval of Rs 5 crore has been given for the construction of 4 lift irrigation schemes in Taila, Sumari, Tumeta and Sirwadi under Jakholi development block.
Chief Minister Dhami also granted financial approval of Rs 7.95 crore for the two and a half km long Bhimtal bypass motor road under the state plan in Bhimtal of Nainital district. The Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 2.74 crore for the installation of a total of 50 hand pumps in Haridwar (urban) assembly under Haridwar district.
