Dehradun, 21 Apr: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard the problems of the people during a Janata Milan programme held at his Camp Office here today. On this occasion, people from different parts of the state apprised the Chief Minister about their problems. People briefed the CM about their problems related to medical treatment, lack of health facilities at certain places. They also demanded construction of roads and for employment and the problems related to land and property. The Chief Minister assured the people that their problems would be resolved soon.
In a large majority of complaints, the CM spoke to the officials concerned and got many of the problems resolved on the spot.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office that the letters received today regarding public complaints and problems should be sent to the officials concerned immediately. He would personally take feedback on the action taken on all the problems and complaints.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also instructed the officers that strict action be taken against those officers and employees who are unnecessarily delaying the works of the people.
Dhami added that the District Magistrates have been instructed to hold Janata Milans and hear the problems of the people of their respective districts for two hours on every working day so that public problems are resolved quickly. The Chief Minister is continuously taking feedback of various schemes being run by the government during his visits to the districts. District Magistrates have also been directed to organise Janata Darbar, Tehsil Day and regular BDC meetings in the districts.
On this occasion, a person from Khedi Shikohpur of Haridwar district complained that his actual land has been shown less on land records by the Lekhpal. The Chief Minister directed that an inquiry be conducted into it and if the complaint is found to be true, then strict action should be taken against the official concerned. A person sought the help of the government for treatment of his back, on which the CM directed the officials to get his treatment done at AIIMS Rishikesh. A person demanded a regular bus service between Dehradun and Rasia Mahadev. The Chief Minister said that appropriate action should be taken after getting the demand examined.
