Tanakpur, 9 Mar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday inaugurated Hot Air Balloon and Para Motor Adventure Activities organised during his Tanakpur Purnagiri visit at the Purnagiri Fair at Kiroda Nala, here, today.
On this occasion, Dhami obtained information from experts regarding hot air balloon and para-gliding.
He directed that such activities be started in other parts of the district as well. He said that wherever hot air balloon and similar sports can be started, those places should also be identified and developed.
He added that the youth of the area should also be connected with Hot Air Balloon and Paramotor Gliding activities so that more youth can join adventure activities and become self-employed in this area. He said that local people will also get more employment as a result.
On the occasion, the local women and others thanked the Chief Minister for promoting adventure activities in the area.
MP Ajay Tamta, President, Zila Panchayat, Jyoti Rai, BJP District President Nirmal Mahra, BJP’s Hema Joshi, District Magistrate Narendra Bhandari, Superintendent of Police Amit Srivastava and others were present on the occasion.
