Dehradun, 2 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the poster and calendar of the 17th Agriculture Science Congress (ASC) in the presence of Vice-Chancellor, GBPUAT, Dr Manmohan Singh Chauhan and DG, UCOST, Dr Durgesh Pant. The ASC is being organised by GBPUAT under the aegis of NAAS.
The poster and calendar of the 17th Agricultural Science Congress was launched by the Chief Minister, today, at his official residence in Dehradun.
Vice-Chancellor Dr MS Chauhan, DG, UCOST, Dr Durgesh Pant, Director, Research, and Organising Secretary Dr AS Nain, Joint Director, Research, Dr Anil Kumar, etc., were present on the occasion.
The CM was informed by the Vice-Chancellor that more than 4000 delegates are coming to attend the event. There will be representatives from 50+ countries. It will be a boost for the agricultural and tourism sector. There will be a display of innovative technologies through 200+ stalls. More than 100 ICAR institutions will participate. The Vice-Chancellors of more than 20 Universities will also participate in the function.
