CM, others condole death of photographer Amit Sah

Nainital, 19 Sep: Famous young photographer and YouTuber Amit Sah (42) from Nainital passed away at 4 a.m. on Monday. He was brought to BD Pandey Hospital after complaining of sudden chest pain at night. After treatment in the hospital, his family took him back home but when his condition deteriorated again, he was brought back to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Amit was unmarried. His father died two years ago and his mother a year ago.

Apart from being a renowned photographer, Sah was also a mountaineer and traveller. He gave a new identity to Astro Trail. Amit Shah was also a well-known YouTuber. His single post used to get up to four million views. He had thousands of followers on Facebook and Instagram.

Amit Shah’s photography has been a subject of discussion across the country and even abroad. His pictures have also been published in the calendars of various departments of the state. The photographs taken by him have also got a place at the international level. In 2019, the photo taken by him in 2017 was also included in the special poster made by the United Nations on the occasion of International Mountain Day.

As soon as the news of Amit’s demise was received on Monday, a large number of people reached his residence in Aavagarh area of Mallital. His last rites were performed at the ghat in Pines on Monday afternoon. He has a married sister and a younger brother.

Amit Shah was a very friendly person. He was also a successful mountaineer. He also actively participated in social work. Everyone is sad and shocked by his untimely demise.
