Dehradun, 23 Mar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has thanked the people of Uttarakhand for granting him an opportunity to serve the state. He shared his gratitude and his views on X (Formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms on the occasion of completing two years in power as the Chief Minister. In a message to the people of the state, Dhami said that he is once again thankful to the people of the state from the bottom of his heart for giving him the opportunity to serve the state! He also added that he also bows down to all the martyrs of the state movement, whose dreams the government is attempting to make a reality. The government is fully committed to continue the development journey of Uttarakhand under the successful leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The CM stated, “Today, 2 years of our government’s tenure are being completed, and on this occasion, I also remember that day when your love, support and blessings changed history by giving me the opportunity to serve for the second time in a row. That moment was extremely emotional for me, at that very moment I also resolved to dedicate myself to your service for life.”
Dhami, in his message also added that on one hand, Uttarakhand has shown a path to the entire country by implementing the Uniform Civil Code, on the other hand, the government has also driven out the copying mafia from the state with a strict anti-copying law to curb rigging of competitive examinations. He added that the government has launched a relentless campaign against the encroachments on government land and has also brought a strict anti- mass conversion law in order to preserve the original culture and demographic specialities of Uttarakhand. A strict anti-riots law has also been enforced in the state. The Chief Minister asserted that with the blessings of the people in coming years, the government will be able to realise the resolution of making Uttarakhand one of the leading states of the country.
