Dehradun, 6 Sep: According to reports reaching here, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was flying in the state government helicopter from Dehradun to Almora to participate in the Jan Aashirwad Rally there when the chopper developed a technical snag and had to return and make a forcelanding in Dehradun.
Later, another helicopter was arranged for the CM and he took off for Almora. The report on the technical snag in the chopper carrying the CM was confirmed by the Office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kumaon, Neelesh Bharne. Further details were still awaited.
It may be recalled that Dhami was scheduled to participate in the Jan Aashirwad Rally of the party along with Union Minister of State Ajay Bhatt and BJP State President Madan Kaushik.
