Mussoorie, 26 Apr: State Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi formally inaugurated the renovated community hall at the Sanatan Dharma Sabha in Barlowganj, here, amidst traditional rituals and prayers. The completion of this project—executed at a cost of approximately Rs 11 lakh using funds from the MLA Local Area Development Scheme—was met with great enthusiasm among the local residents.

Following the inauguration, Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that the state government is rapidly advancing development initiatives while prioritising public welfare above all else. Reiterating the concept of a “Double Engine Government”, he affirmed that the administration is working with the resolve of being a “Government of the People, at the People’s Doorstep”, thereby ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach the very last person in society. He noted that the renovation of the basement hall at the Sanatan Dharamshala would now provide improved facilities for organising social, religious, and cultural events within the region. He added that, alongside strengthening infrastructure, the government is also placing special emphasis on the development of religious sites.
During the event, the Minister launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, remarking that whenever the Indian National Congress is in power, it becomes “intoxicated by power”, and whenever it is in the opposition, it attempts to “garner attention on social media through frivolous rhetoric”. He asserted that the public is fully aware of the reality, and that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is once again poised to form a full-majority government in the state. The Minister also claimed that, in West Bengal as well, the BJP is on track to register a historic victory. Present on this occasion were several dignitaries, including former Mandal President Mohan Petwal, Councillors Gori Thapliyal and Shivani Bharti, former Municipal Council Chairman OP Uniyal, BJP Mandal General Secretaries Narendra Melwan and Arvind Semwal, and the President of the Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Lalit Joshi.
