Minister Joshi inspects facilities at Lekhak Gaon

Dehradun, 18 May: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, along with former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and former Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, visited Lekhak Gaon (Writers’ Village) located in the Raipur Thano area of Dehradun, today. During their visit, the dignitaries reviewed various innovative projects and modern facilities being developed at the site.
They inspected unique features such as the library, meditation and yoga centre, auditorium, Himalayan museum, Sanjeevani cafeteria, Nakshatra Vatika (astrological garden), and Grah Vatika (planetary garden), and took updates on their progress.
On the occasion, Dr ‘Nishank’ shared information about the inspirational book “The Power of Focus”, published by Prabhat Prakashan, and announced that its formal release would take place in the coming weeks.
Praising the concept of Lekhak Gaon, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the site is emerging as a model hub for literature, culture, meditation, and nature. He added that it will serve as a platform for the state’s creative minds and guide the youth in a new direction.
