Dehradun 26 Mar: Congress candidate from Tehri Lok Sabha constituency, Jot Singh Gunsola filed his nomination today for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. State Congress President Karan Mahara participated in the nomination of Tehri Lok Sabha constituency candidate Gunsola. Congress Vice President Mathura Dutt Joshi stated that Mahara will also participate in the nomination of Almora-Pithoragarh candidate Pradeep Tamta at the district headquarters Almora, tomorrow.
Before the nomination of the Tehri Lok Sabha candidate, thousands of Congress workers gathered at the state office, today, where State Congress President Karan Mahara and the party candidate from Lok Sabha constituency Jot Singh Gunsola addressed the party workers.
Mahara on this occasion, called upon the party workers to participate in large numbers in the nomination of party candidates and to work hard to ensure good win for the party in the election.
On this occasion, a large number of office-bearers and workers of various parties from Dhanaulti Assembly constituency of Tehri Lok Sabha constituency, in the presence of State President Karan Mahara and candidate Jot Singh Gunsola, expressed faith in the policies of the Congress Party and took membership of the Congress Party.
Mathura Dutt Joshi stated that the party candidate from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency Ganesh Godiyal, candidate from Almora-Pithoragarh Lok Sabha constituency Pradeep Tamta, candidate from Nainital Udham Singh Nagar Lok Sabha constituency Prakash Joshi and Congress candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency Virender Rawat would file their nominations tomorrow.
Mathuradutt Joshi also stated that among those who joined the party today included Aam Aadmi Party state spokesperson and member of District Panchayat area, Bishtonsi, Amendra Singh Bisht, Aam Aadmi Party Block President Dinesh Tomar, along with Gulshan Kavi, Gram Pradhan and others.
