Dehradun, 31 Jul: A tree plantation drive was held in Doon Cambridge School, here, today. Students enthusiastically participated in the activity and planted various types of trees – Neem, Amla, Ashoka, Kadamb, Mango and Gauva.
They did this as the Earth is being polluted by severe activities of humans and to sustain the environment, planting trees is the need of the hour.
The Principal, HK Chhabra, encouraged the students to plant more trees. She blessed the students as she believes planting more trees will make the earth a better place.
