Dehradun, 18 Dec: Under the instructions of SSP, Dehradun, all police officers have been directed to meet senior citizens residing in their respective areas to inquire about their well-being, gather information about their issues, and offer assistance wherever possible.
Senior citizens have been provided with the contact numbers of relevant officers for assistance.
In an effort to ensure the welfare of senior citizens, the SSP has instructed all officers to take time and meet senior citizens in their areas to inquire about their well-being and understand any problems they may be facing. These officers were also directed to assure all possible help.
Today, in compliance with these directives, Dehradun Police, including gazetted officers, visited senior citizens across both urban and rural police stations. They inquired about their health, gathered information regarding any issues, and promised all assistance. Senior citizens were also provided with contact numbers of their respective Police Station Heads, Chowki In-charges, and Cheetah Unit personnel in case they required any help.
The initiative by Dehradun Police has been wholeheartedly appreciated by senior citizens, who expressed their gratitude for the efforts of the police and commended SSP Ajai Singh’s initiative to ensure the welfare of the elderly.
