Dehradun, 12 Jun: Former Leader of Opposition and Chakrata MLA, Pritam Singh, along with a delegation of senior Congressmen, met Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister on Monday.
Chauhan apprised the CM about the oppressive action being taken by the officials in the name of removing encroachments in the state. He alleged that in the name of the removal of encroachment, people who have been settled for more than 50 years are being uprooted.
Pritam Singh requested Dhami to halt this process of harassment and to provide houses to the families who were rendered homeless.
Jaspur MLA Adesh Singh Chauhan, former MLA Rajpur Road Rajkumar, former Dehradun Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma, Himanshu Chauhan and others were present in the delegation.
