Dehradun, 12 Jun: Expressing strong opposition to AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi‘s statement on alleged exodus of a particular community from a town in Uttarakhand, the BJP State Media In charge Manveer Chauhan said that Owaisi’s advocacy for a particular community in the state is unacceptable. Chauhan also claimed that Owaisi is neither a universally acceptable leader of the Muslim community in India nor their well-wisher. He asserted that Owaisi indulges in vote bank politics everywhere by creating divide between the two communities,
Chauhan asserted that Uttarakhand is known as Devbhoomi which has its own unique culture, religious culture and traditions. In view of this, efforts to bring about a demographic change in the state will not be allowed to succeed in any way. He asserted that no one should take law and order in hands but also added that the law is taking its course and no one is above the law.
Manveer Singh Chauhan claimed that the people of the state do not have any idea where the alleged Maha Panchayat is being held in the state, but Owaisi has already come to know and is now indulging in his political agenda on this issue.
Chauhan said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government is working on the policy of transparency in the state and strict action has been taken against the guilty and justice has been done to the innocent as always.
He said that Owaisi keeps registering his presence in all the places of the country for the sake of vote bank, but Uttarakhand cannot be allowed to become a soft target for him. His “poisonous words” will not be allowed to disturb the calm atmosphere of Dev Bhoomi.
He said that the government is taking strict action on the matters of Love Jihad and Land Jihad in the state and appeasement. However people with their own narrow agenda are finding it hard to digest this. The verification drive is going on in the state and it will not be easy for any person who has criminal past and nefarious intentions to enter the borders of the state. BJP is committed to take strict action against any conspiracy against Sanatan culture to preserve the form of Dev Bhoomi. At the same time, BJP is also committed to respecting all religions and protecting citizens, the government will not tolerate wrong doings.
