DFA wins U 16 Girls Football Tournament

DEHRADUN, 4 Dec: Kasiga School organised the ‘U16 Girls De Dana Dan Football Tournament 2018’ at its football ground on 2-3 November, with special support from the Uttarakhand Football Referee Association. The officiating referees were Narendra Nanda, Sushil Rawat, Aman Jakhmola and Amit Kant.
Dehradun Football Academy (DFA) won the final match, 7-0, against Kasiga School.
The scorers for DFA were Juniyali Rrawat (Team Captain) (3) Jigyasa (2), and Radha (2). The Best Player of the Tournament was Jigyasa.
The Chief Guest was Spanish Coach UEFA PRO Jorge Vazquez Di Biase, accompanied by Satish Nayar, retired BSF Commandant, Kasiga Coach Pravin Rawat, school staff and students.
DFA Founder President and Head Coach Virendra Singh Rawat expressed happiness with the DFA girls’ performance and congratulated the team.
Recently, DFA has won two trophies – the U18 boys RSA Cup at the Ordnance Factory, Dehradun, and the one at Kasiga.
