Dehradun, 5 Mar: In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Harsil-Mukhba area in district Uttarkashi, DGP Deepam Seth, along with senior officials from the Uttarakhand government and police department, conducted an onsite comprehensive security review.
Seth and other senior officers, during their inspection, carried out a detailed assessment of police deployment, duty assignments, barricading, rooftop surveillance, and the positioning of additional security forces. Senior officers, police personnel, and security officials received clear directives to ensure flawless security arrangements.
Prior to this, ADG (Crime/Law & Order) Dr V Murugesan and ADG (Intelligence) AP Anshuman had conducted a security briefing for the deployed forces at the German Hanger in the Horticulture Department, Harsil. Officials reviewed security measures and instructed all personnel to remain vigilant and alert while performing their duties.
Security personnel were given strict guidelines to maintain the highest safety standards during the Prime Minister’s visit. Instructions were issued to establish a robust security system to ensure seamless arrangements throughout the event.
