Dehradun 13 Jul: BJP leadership today held meetings with the office bearers of various Morchas of the party and charted various state-wide programmes to be held in the coming days. It was also decided at the meeting that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and State Party President Madan Kaushik would visit all the districts in the coming days and meet the local leaders of the party as well as the people and obtain their feedback. While the CM would visit the 13 districts and also stay there for a night, each, Party President Kaushik will visit all the 70 assembly constituencies and stay for a day in each.
This plan actually is in furtherance of a similar decision that had been taken in the party’s ‘Chintan Camp’ when Tirath Singh Rawat was the CM.
In today’s meeting, it was also decided that the ministers would visit all the 252 Mandal level party units and speak to the local leaders as well as local people.
Party media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan informed the media that these tours would be undertaken between 25 July and 24 August and, during these tours, there would be dialogue with the people as well as the local leaders. He added that, in addition to the top party leaders, the ministers, and the party MLAs would also travel and hold meetings with the local leaders and the public. The party leaders have also been asked to travel to all the areas of the state and stay there for a detailed dialogue with the people and the local leaders. Chauhan said that a detailed tour programme of CM Dhami and BJP State President Kaushik was being worked out.
