DEHRADUN, 25 Dec: “Christmas Celebrations” were held at Doon Heritage School on the closing day for winter vacation. The foundation classes, Play Group to class 3, the primary section, showcased their talents. The cherry on the cake was the skit, “Finding the Faith of Christmas … the Dance Recital” presented by the junior section.
One by one, performances on the top list of Christmas numbers made every one tune in to the beats of the carols.
The special guests of the day were Anshel Pronk, a counselor from Netherlands, Vijendra Shahi, Nidhi Kotiyal and Sunita Shahi. Principal Meenakshi Soti addressed the parents and congratulated all the participants and their mentors for putting up a wonderful show. She also described the future plans for the students in 2019 by launching the “Karma” activity village, an extended facility that the school would extend for day boarders, which would be inaugurated in the month of January.
