Her work emphasises the importance of instilling good habits in children, guiding them towards personal development and responsible citizenship. This recognition highlights her dedication to education and the positive impact her writings have on shaping the future generation. By fostering a culture of good practices among youth, Roy plays a crucial role in their holistic growth and development, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead
Having not been able to receive the award in person in Delhi, she chose to receive the same in Dehradun from social entrepreneur Colonel (Dr) DP Dimri.
