Dehradun, 21 Aug: Doon International School has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the Overall Champions Trophy at the prestigious Inter School English Debate Competition held at CJM.
Competing against several of the city’s most prestigious schools, including RIMC, Welham Girls’ School, St Thomas’ College, St George’s College and many others, the debaters of Doon International School delivered an impressive performance, displaying clarity of thought, persuasive argumentation, incisive rebuttals and confident oratory throughout the competition. Their strong command over the nuances of debating and ability to respond with precision earned Doon International School the coveted Overall Champions title.
Adding another distinction to the school’s achievement, Swatantra Chaudhary was awarded the Best Rebuttal Award for his sharp analysis, quick thinking and effective counter-arguments.
The school management congratulated the students on their outstanding achievement and commended their efforts in bringing home the prestigious Overall Champions Trophy along with the Best Rebuttal Award.
