DEHRADUN, 30 Sep: A lively discussion took place in Doon on 29 September. The centerpiece of the discussion was Indrani Talukdar’s latest novel, ‘The Colour of Poplars’, published by Spring Books. The Chief Guest at the event was Surjit K Das, former Chief Secretary. Others present included well-known author Allen Sealy, Deputy Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, DGP Anil Raturi and publisher Sanjay Arya. Rahul Jain, well-known figure of Dehradun, hosted the event. The Colour of Poplars, is a mystery based on true incidents of bride trafficking in India.
