Dehradun, 2 Dec: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat attended the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’ at the Municipal Corporation, here on Sunday. After the oath, the Chief Minister congratulated the Mayor and the Board Members.
Commissioner, Garhwal, Shailash Bagoli administered oath of office and secrecy to newly elected Mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’. Subsequently, Gama did the same to the Corporators representing all the wards.
Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik, Minister of State for Higher Education Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, MPs Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, State BP President Ajay Bhatt, MLAs Harbans Kapoor, Vinod Chamoli, Ganesh Joshi, Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’, Khajan Dass, Sahdev Singh Pundir, Anglo Indian Legislator George Ivan Gregory Mann and others were present at the swearing-in-ceremony.
