Dr Mohapatra takes over as Chairman IFTDO

New Delhi, 14 Jun: Dr Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, ED (HR) Indian Oil Limited and Former DHR, Indian Oil today took over the Chairmanship of the International Federation of Training and Development (IFTDO) established in 1970 in Geneva. Chris McDonagh from Ireland resigned recently as Chairman of the August body. In the AGM conducted online today it was proposed by Md Bin Farhad, Deputy Commander General of Dubai Police and seconded by Ghalib AL Hosni from Oman. It is a historic moment for India when it is holding the leadership of G-20 and this major leadership has come India’s way. Mohapatra was the former President of IFTDO, under whose leadership India hosted the 49th IFTDO World Conference at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 19-21 May 2022 inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri. The conference was a grand success and established a new benchmark, thereby affirming the leadership acumen of Mohapatra.
