DEHRADUN, 19 Sep: Senior Radiologist of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr Veerendra Kumar Sharma has won a Gold Medal at the Uttarakhand State Level Shooting Championship. Dr VK Sharma has been congratulated by the hospital’s doctors and staff on this achievement. Dr Sharma is also aiming to participate in the National Shooting Championship to be held in November in Delhi. For this, he is practicing hard these days. Dr VK Sharma has won this Gold Medal at the competition held at Jaspal Rana Shooting Range, Paundha, by scoring 259 points out of 400 in 10 metres shooting. These exact shots were hit by Dr Sharma with his air pistol of ‘Morini’ brand, Switzerland. Earlier, too, Dr Sharma won a Gold Medal in March 2019 at the Inter State 1st Masters Championship. Dr VK Sharma is one of the renowned Radiologists of Uttarakhand. Besides being an MD (Radio-diagnosis) from Gwalior and having acquired professional Training in Master of Public Health (Finland) and Thermography (USA), he has unique exposure in radiology training from Sweden, Finland, USA and Hong Kong. He has been a source of inspiration to young radiologists aspiring to make a life-long career in Radiology. Dr Sharma wished that all young doctors participate in sports apart from being devoted to the Medical Profession while serving the community.
