Dehradun, 1 Jun: Drishti Foundation successfully organised a Free Eye Screening Camp at the PTCUL Head Office, ISBT, here. The camp was conducted with the support of the experienced doctors and optometrists from Drishti Eye Institute and aimed to promote eye health awareness and facilitate the early detection of vision-related problems.
The camp witnessed an encouraging response, with around 80 individuals undergoing comprehensive eye examinations. The screenings revealed that a significant number of participants were affected by cataract and other common eye conditions that require timely medical attention.
During the camp, each participant received a thorough eye evaluation and personalised consultation. The medical team carefully assessed the eye health of every individual and provided guidance on appropriate treatment and preventive eye care measures.
Speaking about the initiative, representatives from Drishti Eye Institute emphasised the importance of regular eye examinations, especially for adults and senior citizens, as many eye diseases develop gradually and often remain unnoticed until vision is significantly affected.
The camp was conducted by a dedicated team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff from Drishti Eye Institute, who worked together to ensure that every attendee received quality eye care and professional attention.
Drishti Foundation remains committed to serving the community through such outreach programmes, with continued support from Drishti Eye Institute. Together, they strive to improve vision health and enhance the quality of life for people across the region through timely diagnosis, treatment, and awareness.
