Dehradun, 3 Sep: Ecole Globale International Girls’ School hosted the 6th Annual Ecole Globale Invitational Inter-School Swimming Competition on 2 September. The event saw 140 students from 17 leading schools competing for the trophy.
It began with a special assembly, during which all the swimmers took an oath of sportsmanship and fair play. Following the assembly, the competition commenced, showcasing a series of events that tested both skill and stamina.
Students competed in the Sub Junior, Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories in all the four strokes, medley and relay races.
Ecole Globale International Girls’ School emerged as the champion t the competition. The second position was secured by Wynberg Allen School, 3rd position by Gyananda, and 4th position by Woodstock School
Yashasvi Chaudhary from Ecole Globale International Girls’ School and Aarna from Shri Ram bagged the first positions in the Sub Junior category.
Ira Rawat from St Mary’s and Juliet from Woodstock bagged the first position in the Junior category. Isha Panwar from Brightlands bagged the first position in the Intermediate category and Megha Aagarwal from Pestle Weed bagged the first position in the Senior category.
