KOTDWAR, 1 Dec: Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan attended the annual celebration, “Ullas”, at Adarsh Vidya Niketan Public School, located on the Kotdwar-Haridwar road, and inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp.
While addressing the gathering, Ritu Khanduri Bhushan praised the school for dedicating the annual celebration to mothers. She emphasised that a mother is one’s first teacher, who teaches one to speak and walk. She further highlighted the importance of education in life, stating that education is essential, and students must also excel in sports, dance, and other fields alongside their academic pursuits.
She also urged the parents to work towards women empowerment and raise awareness in society. She encouraged women to engage in open discussions with both their daughters and sons. She stressed the importance of teaching boys how to communicate respectfully with women and how to show respect to elders.
The Speaker congratulated the school family and encouraged them to continue organising such events to nurture the growth of children. She also extended her best wishes to Principal Anuradha Naithani, Manager Rajneesh Sharma, and all the teachers.
On this occasion, BJP State Spokesperson Bipin Kainthola, Councillor Manish Bhatt, Kamal Negi, Subhash Pandey, Raj Gaurav Nautiyal, Naval Kishore, Simran Bisht, Neeru Bala, and others were also present.
