Dehradun, 11 Sep: A photo exhibition of internationally renowned photographer Dr Kamal Sharma’s “I Was There” photo series was organised at Graphic Era Hill University to pay tribute to the victims of 9/11.
The programme was organised in Graphic Era Hill University’s open auditorium. Dr Kamal Sharma said that these photos are among his most famous works. He was the only Asian photographer present at the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. While addressing the students, he said that the purpose of this exhibition is to inform youngsters about the increasing terrorism in the world. Love is the driving force of this world, not hate. He also explained the details of his photos to everyone present at the event.
This exhibition was organised by the Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Graphic Era. Vice Chancellor, Prof Sanjay Jasola and HOD Dr Taha Siddiqui were present on the occasion.
