DEHRADUN, 8 Aug: A Fire & Safety Mock Drill was conducted at The Himalayan Public School, here, today. LFM Ajay Semwal was present with his team. School Secretary (Finance) Ayush Vardhan Arya, Secretary Archita Chaudhary, Director, Administration, Col VS Mall (Retd), Principal Dr Ena Banerjee, staff and students were present on the occasion. A demonstration on the use of fire safety equipment was conducted by the experts from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services to sensitise the staff and students on protection and rescue techniques in case of fire. The objective of the exercise was to create awareness among the students of fire fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in time of such emergency situations. The programme proved very informative for the staff and the students.
