Flag Rally planned in Haridwar to promote National Games



Haridwar, 29 Dec: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Haridwar, Dhiraj Singh Gabryal at the Collectorate conference hall, here, today. The objective was to organise a flag rally to promote the National Games to be held in Uttarakhand.

The route of the rally was discussed in detail. It was decided that the starting point of the rally would be the Bhalla College Stadium. It would conclude at the Malviye Dweep situated at Har-ki-Paudi, where the Ganga would be worshiped and other programmes would also be organised. The Ganga Sabha’s cooperation would be taken to give a mega form to the rally.

DM Dhiraj Singh Gabryal directed ensuring the arrangement of vehicles for the flag of National Sports, drone hiring as per government rule to be confirmed for wide publicity. Moreover, the plan for operating the smooth traffic in the city and the inclusion of a large number of students was discussed.

DM Gabriyal suggested a date after 15 January, 2024, for the rally due to present closure of schools.

The rehearsal would be completed before the day of the mega event.
