Dehradun, 28 May: Which founder has the best pitch? That was the driving question at Monday’s Founder’s War Room, hosted by FICCI FLO Uttarakhand under the leadership of Dr Geeta Khanna, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Uttarakhand.
The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of around 100 entrepreneurs, founders, and ecosystem partners, eager to showcase Uttarakhand’s growing startup talent.
The event was day-chaired by Anuradha Doval, Initiative Lead – Startup Cell, FLO Uttarakhand, and anchored by Kshitij Doval, Founder & CEO, Unhu Innovation Center.
The evening brought together some of the brightest entrepreneurial minds in the region to pitch their innovative ideas and compete for the title of Best Startup Pitch.
The preliminary pitch round featured founders showcasing their business models and solutions, followed by a final round judged by a distinguished panel: Dr Geeta Khanna, Chairperson, Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights; Neha Joshi, National Vice President, BJYM & Social Activist; Vipul Dawar, ex-Chairperson, CII Uttarakhand and MD, Indo German Brakes; and Dr Deepak Murari, Joint Director at the Directorate of Industries, Uttarakhand, &
Team Incharge of Startup Uttarakhand Cell.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Best Startup Pitch winner: Avinash Mishra, who was honoured with the FLO Trophy and an award gift in recognition of his outstanding pitch and entrepreneurial spirit.
Dr Khanna emphasised FLO Uttarakhand’s commitment to fostering women-led businesses and empowering local entrepreneurs. “This platform is about giving startups the stage they deserve — to shine, connect, and grow,” she said.
Anuradha Doval added, “We are thrilled to see such passion and talent right here in Uttarakhand. Events like this are a stepping stone for founders to gain visibility and mentorship.”
