Dehradun, 0l4 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi held a joint meeting with officials from the Public Works Department and MDDA at his camp office in Hathibarkala on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was to review the ongoing development works and proposed projects in the Mussorie Assembly Constituency.
During the meeting, Joshi took detailed information about the progress of development works in the constituency. He instructed the officials to expedite the ongoing and proposed development projects in areas such as Vijay Colony, Dhakpatti, Pururkul, Jakhan, Bhuranshanda-Gadh, Motidhar Marsana, Barlokanj-Chamasari, Kyara Dhanolti, Bandawali, etc. He emphasized giving priority to public welfare-related works and directed the officials to ensure their timely completion.
Minister Joshi also instructed the Public Works Department officials to repair internal roads and bridges, including the CCA road, and rebuild the damaged infrastructure caused by the rains. He further directed the MDDDA officials to work on the installation of streetlights, solar lights, beautification, and other improvement-related tasks in the Mussorie constituency within the prescribed time frame and in an organized manner.
The Minister urged the officials to resolve pending issues related to forest clearance, re-tendering, and government approvals without delay. He also emphasized ensuring the quality of construction materials and completing all projects within the stipulated time.
Present at the meeting were Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department JK Tripathi, Executive Engineer of MDDA Sunil Kumar, Assistant Engineer Shailendra Rawat, Assistant Engineer of MDDA PP Semwal, and other officials.
