The declaration of results has triggered celebrations across the state, with toppers receiving accolades from their schools, families and local communities. Sushila Mehendiratta’s achievement of having topped the Intermediate examination, has been particularly inspiring, as she comes from a modest background, with her parents running a small boutique in the Bhurarani area. She attributed her success to disciplined self-study of nearly four hours daily and consistent guidance from her teachers. Notably, she did not rely on any coaching or private tuition, choosing instead to focus on school-based learning and self-preparation. Her younger brother, who appeared in the High School examination, also performed well by securing 87.8 per cent marks, making it a moment of double celebration for the family.

Similarly, Vanshika’s success story reflects determination and perseverance. Daughter of a taxi driver, she prepared for the examination without any external coaching, relying on classroom teaching and dedicated study at home. She expressed her ambition to pursue higher studies in Mathematics and eventually become a professor, crediting her teachers and family members for their unwavering support.

High School topper Akshat Gopal’s achievement has also drawn widespread praise. A student of MP Hindu Inter College, Ramnagar, he maintained a disciplined study routine of four to five hours daily and avoided distractions such as excessive mobile phone use. He did not take any private tuition and relied entirely on self-study and guidance from his teachers. The son of a private teacher, Akshat credited his parents and mentors for his success and stated that he aspires to become an engineer in the future. His accomplishment has brought pride not only to his family but also to the entire region, with well-wishers thronging his residence to congratulate him.

The Board reported that a total of 1,12,266 candidates had registered for the High School examination, out of which 1,08,983 appeared and 1,00,373 passed successfully. In addition to the toppers, several schools also recorded notable performances in the merit lists. Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Rishikesh, saw multiple students securing positions in the state merit list, underlining the institution’s consistent academic standards. Aryan’s second rank in the Intermediate examination added to the school’s achievements, while several other students secured positions within the top 25 ranks in both High School and Intermediate categories.

Following the declaration of results, the Board has also issued helpline numbers to assist students with queries related to their results, scrutiny and other examination-related procedures. Board Secretary Vinod Prasad Simlti stated that students often have several queries after the results are announced, and the helpline facility has been put in place to provide timely assistance and guidance.
