Dehradun, 19 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jolly Grant Airport here, today, after his two day visit to Kedarnath and Badrinath. He was received and seen off to Delhi by Governor Baby Rani Maurya, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and DGP Anil Kumar Raturi.
The PM said on the occasion that reconstruction work was being done well in Kedarnath. He praised the efforts of those involved.
He shared the experience of the visit with Chief Minister Rawat. The CM told him that the remaining twenty percent work would be completed soon. He appreciated the PM’s interest in Uttarakhand’s welfare. The PM had also given good suggestions on promoting tourism and pilgrimage in the state. He also said that the PM’s frequent visits had also promoted the state as a destination.
