Gov goes on safari in Jim Corbett National Park

Nainital/Ramnagar, 13 June: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) took part in a safari in Jim Corbett National Park, here, on Thursday.

On this occasion, the Governor also saw a tiger. The Governor said, “I undertook a safari in the world-famous Jim Corbett National Park, the habitat of wildlife and bird species. As a thrilling jungle safari destination for wildlife lovers, Jim Corbett National Park is a wonderful world of wildlife. The lush green forests, calm atmosphere and views of wildlife here were all mesmerising.”

The Governor said that forests and wildlife are the invaluable assets of Uttarakhand, it is the responsibility of all to preserve them. Every effort should be made to preserve this rich wealth, which will make Devbhoomi more prosperous.
