DEHRADUN, 21 Dec: Governor Baby Rani Maurya has provided financial assistance of Rs 25,000 from her discretionary fund for a specially-able girl, receiving treatment in Doon Hospital by taking cognisance of news appearing in the media.
The Governor has wished the girl a speedy recovery. She described the incident involving the girl as tragic and unfortunate. She has also given the hospital administration instructions to ensure proper treatment of the victim. She also directed the District Magistrate, Haridwar, to conduct a proper inquiry into the incident, and also provide necessary help and security to the girl and her family.
