Dehradun, 8 Jul: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) released the “Vasantotsav-2024” coffee table book at the Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
This coffee table book, prepared by the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, is based on the activities of Vasantotsav organised at Raj Bhavan Dehradun. The department was entrusted with the responsibility of making the coffee table book of Vasantotsav-2024 organised at Raj Bhavan Dehradun by the Governor, which has been completed by them. It has been edited by Director, Gardens, Deepti Singh, Deputy Director Dr Ratan Kumar and assisted by Dr Rohit Bisht, Hemvati Nandan, Neha Verma and Deepak Prakash.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated all the officers and employees who cooperated in making this coffee table book and appreciated their work. All the important programmes of Vasantotsav have been included in this book.
He said that documentation of any programme is necessary so that its memories remain alive for the future. On this occasion, the Governor also received information about departmental schemes from the Secretary. Present on this occasion were Secretary SN Pandey, Joint Director Dr Ratan Kumar, Dr Rajneesh, and Garden Officer, Raj Bhavan Deepak Purohit.
