Dhami hands over appointment letters to 67 candidates selected for Agriculture Dept

Dehradun, 23 Feb: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 67 candidates selected for the post of Assistant Accountant in the state Agriculture Department through the Public Service Commission during a programme held at his official residence, here, today.
Congratulating all the newly appointed officials, the Chief Minister said that they would become a part of the Uttarakhand government and administration. He expected them to do their work efficiently with true dedication and hard work. He reiterated that the government is making sincere efforts to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state and observed that these efforts are slowly beginning to materialise. He expressed hope that in future more youths will get employment opportunities in the state itself.
Addressing the selected candidates, the CM noted that they were fortunate to have received an opportunity to serve in a state where there are immense possibilities for progress. Whatever work one does, one should do it with full honesty and dedication and try one’s best to complete the work that has to be done on time and fulfil one’s responsibility in making Uttarakhand a leading and better state.
He pointed out that, of thousands of youths of the state, a few have been given this opportunity for special work and that they should be disciplined and discharge their responsibilities with honesty.
The Chief Minister claimed that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new work culture has developed in the country. The state government is also fully committed to the welfare of every section of society and will continue to do so.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi also congratulated all the youth who received appointment letters. Director General, Agriculture, Dr Ranjit Singh Chauhan, Director of Agriculture KP Pathak, Joint Director, Agriculture, Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Director, Agriculture, Naveen Kandpal, and PM Bisht were among those present.
