Dehradun, 2 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tributes to the martyrs of the Uttarakhand statehood agitation by offering floral tributes before their photographs at the Shaheed Sthal in the District Collectorate premises here today.
The CM, while paying homage to the statehood agitationists who had sacrificed their lives for the creation of a separate Uttarakhand state, said that the martyrs had many dreams for the new state. He claimed that the state government is continuously working towards creating the state of Uttarakhand as per their dreams. Rapid work is being done in every field towards making Uttarakhand an ideal state of the country. Dhami also claimed that continuous efforts are being made by the state government to make this decade that of Uttarakhand. The state is being developed as per the public expectations.
