Govt committed to ensuring transparency in recruitments: CM

Dehradun, 9 Sep: In a statement issued after the conclusion of the cabinet meeting held, today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government would take all possible steps to maintain the sanctity and dignity of the recruitment examinations.

He said that a proposal had been passed by the cabinet today regarding the transfer of the ongoing recruitment process for about 7000 posts by the Uttarakhand State Subordinate Services Selection Commission to the State Public Service Commission. The CM said he had directed that the state government take all possible steps to maintain the transparency and integrity of the recruitment examinations.

Dhami further stated that he had directed the state public service commission to issue an advance calendar of the upcoming recruitments and start the rprocess soon. He has directed that, along with the current advertised posts, all the departments of the state government prepare a list of vacant posts for direct recruitment within a certain time frame and make these available to the Commission, so that the advance calendar of future examinations could be issued.

The CM reiterated that, in respect of all those examinations of which the results had been declared by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission but the recruitment process had not been completed, it had been decided the recruitment process would be completed by the state public service commission.  The state government is committed to the transparency and cleanliness of the recruitment process in government jobs.
