Govt transfers 4 IPS officers, including SSP, Tehri

Dehradun, 3 Apr: The Uttarakhand government today issued transfer orders for four senior IPS officers in the state. According to the official notification issued today under the signature of Secretary, Home, Shailesh Bagoli, Yogendra Singh Rawat, who was serving as IG Personnel/Headquarters, has been appointed IG Kumbh Mela now in view of the coming event in Haridwar next year. Ayush Agrawal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Tehri, has been transferred to take charge as SSP, Kumbh Mela.

Shweta Chaubey, Commandant of the Second India Reserve Battalion, has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police, Tehri. Vishakha Ashok Bhadane, SP Crime Against Women/ CCTNS/ Training, has been appointed Commandant of the Second India Reserve Battalion.

The order directs the officers to assume charge immediately and submit compliance reports through the DGP, Uttarakhand. The transfers are seen as part of administrative preparations ahead of major events and to strengthen policing in sensitive areas.
