Graphic Era conducts International seminar of HR professionals



DEHRADUN, 10, Aug: International Experts have advocated for developing Uttarakhand as a Special Spiritual Economic Zone. At a seminar organized by the Dehradun chapter of Indian Society for Training and Development at Graphic Era Hill University today where experts made this recommendation. The experts also opined that the happiness of employees increases their productivity. A total of 130 delegates from various National and International institutions participated in the event and also presented 42 research papers. On the second day of the seminar, the program organized in K.P.Nautiyal Auditorium of Graphic Era Hill University, people doing excellent work in various fields were felicitated. Prior to this, experts also made presentations on various topics such as Spirituality at workplace, Happiness at workplace, Work life balance, Human social responsibility, Value and ethics at work place and Spiritual Dimension of Leadership. Experts said that the country’s well-known companies should also conduct Happiness Social Responsibility program to keep their employees happy. While receiving this year’s ISTD Dehradun Chapter’s Visionary Edupreneur Award, Prof(Dr) Kamal Ghanshala, President Graphic Era group said that, one should always choose a career of his choice. Success awaits people who enjoy doing their work. Saumya Beniwal was awarded the youngest woman entrepreneur, Pooran Singh from Pauri Garhwal received the youngest entrepreneur and UJVNL was choosen the best corporation of the year. Mehul Ji Thakkar got the best paper presentation award. The chief guest of this two- day seminar was Eric af Hällström, Ambassador of Finland in India. The president of D K International Foundation Vinayshil Gautam, president of ISTD, Dehradun chapter, Dr Avinash Chandra Joshi , vice president S K Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Graphic Era University Prof Dr R K Sharma and Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Prof Dr Sanjay Jasola remained present in the event.
