Dehradun, 30 Aug: Doctors of Graphic Era Hospital have successfully treated children who were suffering from heart diseases with new technologies. Doctors performed these treatments without any surgery.
A health camp was organised at Graphic Era Hospital, at which, after free consultation, 20 children were chosen for treatment. Specialists of Graphic Era Hospital successfully carried out non-surgical treatments for closure of heart defects in these children. The operations of children aged 6 to 17 were performed on 29 and 30 August at the Hospital.
On this occasion, a workshop was also organised. Experts from across the country shared information on new technologies, current treatments and strategies for handling complex cases in paediatric cardiology. Experts from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and other regions attended the workshop.
Medical Director Dr Punit Tyagi, Paediatric Cardiologist Dr KL Umamaheshwar, HoD of Cardiology Department Dr Raj Pratap Singh, Dr Himanshu Rana and Dr SP Gautam were also present in the workshop.
