Dehradun, 26 Dec: On the occasion of Veer Baal Diwas, Graphic Era Deemed University paid homage to the courage and martyrdom of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
To remember Guru Gobind Singh’s sons’ sacrifice, an event was organised in Graphic Era. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr Narpinder Singh said that, at the tender ages of 9 and 6, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh made the supreme sacrifice to protect their religion. Veer Baal Diwas marks the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh’s Sahabzaade. This day is a symbol of their significant contribution and courage. They are a source of infinite inspiration for the youngsters. Dr Narpinder Singh highlighted the importance of Veer Baal Diwas in detail.
HODs of various departments along with faculty members and students were present at the event.
