Haldwani, 23 May: BJP State President and winning candidate on the Nainital Lok Sabha seat, Ajay Bhatt celebrated his victory with supporters, here, today. The supporters garlanded him and distributed sweets on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, he said former CM Harish Rawat ought to join the BJP and they would both work together. Rawat was like his elder brother but they had radically opposing political views.
Bhatt pointed out that there was little difference between the exit polls and the actual results. This was not surprising. The people of the country wanted to see Narendra Modi as India’s Prime Minister once again. Countering the allegations of the opposition, he asserted that people had voted for Modi.
