Health Camp held at Him Jyoti School by Rotary Club

DEHRADUN, 27 Jan: On the occasion of the 70th Republic Day, a multi-speciality medical camp was organised at Him Jyoti School by the Rotary Club, Roorkee Mid-town. The programme commenced with hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal, Monika Arora. This was followed by the welcome address by Hemant Arora, Treasurer, Himalayan School Society. He welcomed the team of 14 doctors from Roorkee – Dr Karan Singh, Dr Variza, Dr Sudhir Chaudhary, Dr Ajay Bhargava, Dr Madhulika, Dr Sanjeev Garg, Dr Sangeeta Garg, Dr Vikas Tyagi, Dr Priyanka Vardhan, Dr Priyank Rastogi, Dr Shri Mohan, Dr Gopal Singh Ruhela, Dr Manjula and Dr Sunita Tyagi.
The team was warmly welcomed by the students who presented a short cultural programme. Thereafter, there was class-wise inspection of the students by experienced doctors. Some prominent doctors also took workshops and advised the students on the need to maintain personal hygiene and practice balanced diet. Overall, it was indeed a very fruitful programme. The students of Him Jyoti Vocational Institute also participated in the event. The Rotary Club has always been a part of Him Jyoti School, almost since its inception, and this Medical Camp organised by it, was undoubtedly a tribute to the country on this eventful day.
