IFFI: Uttarakhand Pavilion takes the laurels

GOA, 23 Nov: The Uttarakhand Pavilion became a major centre of attraction in the film market at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Many well-known film producers, directors, writers, actors, and others from various genres have visited the Uttarakhand Pavilion to learn about the new film policy of the state government.
Renowned actor Hemant Pandey visited the Uttarakhand Pavilion and lauded  the efforts of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He stated that the state government has implemented an excellent film policy for the film industry, which will yield positive results. He also noted that the Uttarakhand Pavilion remains the major centre of attraction in the entire film market. Famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra, president of IMPA (Indian Motion Picture Producer Association) Abhay Sinha, Sushma Shiromani of IMPA, Nishant Ujjwal, and Vinod Kumar Gupta also visited the Uttarakhand Pavilion and lauded the film policy.
Other notable visitors included renowned film actor Nimai Bali, film producer Shravan Mohtar, National Film Award-winning cinematographer Subhai Nallamuthu, Sagar World Multimedia Pvt Ltd Director Shiv Sagar (grandson of Ramanand Sagar), actress and producer Aarushi Nishank, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s Additional Managing Director Vidisha Mukherjee, and Maharashtra Film Stage and Culture Development Ltd’s Joint Managing Director Dr Dhananjay Sawalkar. The visitors engaged in discussions about the film policy at the Uttarakhand Pavilion.
Deputy Director of the Information Department of the state, Nitin Upadhyay is among the senior officials representing the state at the Film Festival in Goa.
